A clean bathroom is one of my highest priorities in a hotel and this one met the standards. The other thing I liked about this suite was the high kitchen dining table (small, enough room for two) which allowed me to spread out collage materials and make post cards! The cool, punched-tin lamp hanging above the table sprayed a neat pattern of light on the wall too which, for some reason, made me happy. Nice for the price, nothing fancy...yet nicer than other places I've stayed in Santa Fe for sure!

We recently stayed at The Santa Fe Suites for a long weekend. The room was spacious with 2 queen beds. It was tastefully decorated in the southwest theme. It had a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. It didnt have a coffee maker though. It came fully stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware and pans. It even had a toaster! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was quiet too. The only thing I think they could improve on is the free continental breakfast. They offered frozen waffles instead of the waffle mix and Belgium waffle maker that the competition has. They had bagels, Danishes, cereal, and 2 juices which both didn't taste all that great. We booked directly with the hotels website and got a great deal on last minute travel.  Overall, we had a nice stay and would choose Santa Fe Suites again!

We had a great stay in the Santa Fe Suites, the rooms were comfortable and clean with all amenities needed. The continental breakfast was nice, the Suites are conveniently located off of St. Francis not far from I-25. It is a short drive to the plaza and shuttle services are available for tourists. The staff was very friendly. The price was very reasonable.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at The Santa Fe Suites. The room was clean and quiet. The refrigerator and microwave were very convenient. There are stores within walking distance if you forgot anything or need a Starbuck's fix. The hotel is a little ways from downtown, but for the price it is a fair trade-off.

I had a great experience at the Santa Fe Suites. My room was spacious, clean, and well taken care of. I couldn't hear any noise from the suites around me, and the service was great. I especially appreciated how the staff at the check-in desk helped me get a substantially lower rate even though I'd already booked it at a certain price. Next time I'm in Santa Fe I'll make a point to stay there. I'd absolutely recommend the Santa Fe Suites!

We really enjoyed our overnight stay. The room was very comfortable, the kitchen area worked out well and their coin laundry facility was excellent. It is out of the city proper but very easy to get to downtown Santa Fe. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We can highly recommend this hotel to other travelers and if we get back to Sante Fe we will make a reservation there.

In this day of high gas prices and higher hotel rates, we were so delighted to discover the Santa Fe Suites. The staff was so helpful upon our midnight arrival the first time and midday the second.

They helped us identify restaurants, provided maps and answered our questions in a friendly manner.
The property is equipped with free wireless internet and they have a computer and printer available for guest use. Each suite has a full size refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, coffee pot and toasters; additionally they serve a free continental breakfast.

Upon leaving, I left my apple air dvd drive which they found and mailed to me. This place is a great value and is conveniently located for area attractions and groceries.

I was very impressed with my whole experience at Santa Fe Suites. I'd had a hard time getting to Santa Fe - late flights, missed connections, etc. It was very refreshing to be greeted by friendly, accommodating people at the desk. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well furnished the room was - bed, couch, dresser, TV, kitchen area with sink, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and silverware. It was more than enough to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I did stay in the room by myself, though. My brother's family (3 people) was next door. Because they had a lot of stuff from travelling, it was a little more crowded for them - they had a 2-bed suite. Still, they liked Santa Fe Suites. We would all stay there again. The price is very good. The continental breakfast was also nice - several choices and plenty for us - cereal, oatmeal, waffles, toast, muffins, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee. The nearby Albertson's (walking distance) was nice for picking up a few groceries and supplies.

If you are searching for value plus amenities this is the place. The grounds are kept immaculate and the suites are adorable. Beds were comfortable and you have a kitchenette in case you want to eat in. Staff was courteous and responsive to needs.

We arrived at the Santa Fe Suites late in the evening after driving straight through from Estes Park, Colorado on our way to Arizona. The warm and kind reception from April was much appreciated.

On our return home from Arizona we stopped in again and April gave us a quit room where we slept great. The great rate includes a continental breakfast and fresh coffee. Thanks April!

“A Great three weeks” (rated 4 of 5 marks)

Was required to work in Santa Fe for three weeks. The Suites was recommended by a friend.
Arranged that my room would have access to Wireless Internet. Room came with full size refrigerator, microwave, stove top burners, dishwasher. Double bed, small couch/convertible for bed.

Room was very clean and bright. Office staff over the three weeks were outstanding. Helpful and cheerful in every way. the same may be said of the cleaning staff. No ice maker in refrigerator but would leave a note in morning and ice would be there when I returned.

Internet in lobby, books in lobby. Continental breakfast 6 to 9, varied, always cereal hot & cold, danishes, English muffins, bagels, fruit salad, yogurt, coffee, tea, orange juice.

Motel totally convenient to Route 25 to Albuquerque, and via St Francis downtown or to north, or west to Cerrillos Road.

The Santa Fe Suites are as advertised. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is friendly and attentive and the grocery store is a leisurely walk across a couple parking lots. The breakfast foods were fresh and plentiful, even though we ate out every day but one. (Tia Sophia's is great for breakfast, just south of the plaza.) The bed was really comfortable and the temperature in the room was easy to control. The only things lacking in the room were CD & DVD players, which would be nice in the evening. Radio reception is a little sketchy. The drive into downtown Santa Fe is about 10 minutes or so and really easy. We will definitely stay here in the future and would recommend it for others.

I have stayed at the Camel Rock Suites two times, once for 3 months in 2005 and again for 4 months in 2006. The staff were very nice and helpful. I liked the kitchenette and the convenience of Albertsons. Trader Joes, Wild Oats, and Whole Foods are close by. I stayed in one suite that had only a shower (small) and one that had the bath/shower combo. I liked the bathroom with the bath/shower best but the room with the shower only better, if only they could put the bath/shower in the other style room!! The rooms and property are well maintained and they have the best laundry facility around ($2.00 per load at the time). I saw them cleaning carpet in the suites about once a week, so you can walk around barefoot in them. I had great views. I don't know what the other reviewers expected but the room size is okay and living there for an extended period wasn't that bad. Only downside is that you have to use dial up in your room, other than that I'd stay there again.
